INDIE SENSATION FINDING STELLA TO RELEASE DEBUT CD “TWITCH” DECEMBER 12

OCTOBER 29, 2003 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) – San Francisco-based rock band FINDING STELLA will release their debut album TWITCH at Bay Area Borders Bookstores on December 12, 2003. The release will be highlighted by a short performance at the Union City Borders Bookstore in the evening and celebrated with a CD release party and full performance at the Hard Rock Café (Pier 39) in San Francisco, California on December 13, 2003, starting at 9PM.

The CD’s twelve tracks were written and co-produced by singer/songwriter and musician Chris Snyder, and includes singles “Street Fair”, “Crazy Suits Me Fine”, “The Day & Night”, “Twitch”, “Gremlin” and “Would You Know”. The album is a combination of many styles and influences - from rock to alternative to some soft R&B. The lyrics and music have a sound for everyone. Each song has a different feel – creating an interesting combination for the listener.

“I’m influenced by so many musicians and styles I can’t decide what genre I like the most – I think this CD shows that and I think it’s a good thing”, stated Snyder. “Being versatile is positive and I’m hoping that will make Finding Stella appeal to more than one group. I believe my songs show the space I was in when I wrote them – the feeling each song creates is fairly obvious. If you get as angry as I was when you listen to The Day & Night…well…good”, she adds.

In other news, FINDING STELLA has been selected to support Monte Cristo Films in their presentation of BEAVER RUN CAFÉ. This is an independent feature produced by Rose Hawayek, with the direction of Anita Gouloomian and the cinematic look of DP Frederic Chaign, and features the music of FINDING STELLA. The band was also featured on The Music Channel’s “Locals Only TV”, and filmed live in San Francisco in December, 2002.
